Shree Shanidev Temple, Shani Shingnapur

Introduction

Shani Shingnapur is a world-famous Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shani, the god of justice and karma. Located in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, this unique temple is known for its deep-rooted faith and distinctive open-air structure. The presiding deity is Lord Shani, represented by a 5-foot-tall black stone swayambhu idol. It is believed that the idol emerged naturally and holds immense spiritual power.
